Review of The Jason King Series by Matt Rogers

Plenty of action, tension and drama, but more importantly a story that goes somewhere. The Jason King series is a step above most series in this genre.

This isn’t a review of a single book, but of the six books that make up The Jason King series. Don’t worry, no spoilers.

I only write reviews for books that have made an impact on me in some way. An enjoyable book where nothing stood out doesn’t usually lead to a review. This was the case with some of these books as individual novels. They’re enjoyable 6-8 star reads,

Review of 12 Rules for Life by Jordan Peterson

I like the concept of this book, but I think it failed to live up to its own promise.

There’s no denying that Jordan Peterson has an incredible mind. This book is filled with an overload of proof of his mental ability, and there’s plenty that is really useful. It could be said that there might even be too much information. In fact, that is where my problem lies with this book.

Firstly, I designed the book cover for this novel and while that doesn’t effect my overall review, I just wanted it to be clear. Secondly, The Demon Accords is probably my favourite series at the moment. They’re fun, easy reading books that are so addictive that I have probably gone through the entire series up to 5 times already.

There, that’s off my chest. I feel better already. On to the review…
